Description: Likely footage of the October 1931 game against the Georgetown Hoyas at College Field in East Lansing, Michigan. MSC Head Coach - Jim Crowley; Georgetown Head Coach - Tommy Mills. Possibly filmed by former Spartan football captain-elect, Del Vandervoort (class of 1918). Michigan State fullback Abe Eliowitz (recipient of the first ever Governor of Michigan Award) scored the only points in the game, running in for a touchdown midway through the first quarter. Spartans won 6-0.
