Description: A WKAR Radio broadcast (hosted by Jack Hogan) of the Winter 1961 commencement ceremony held in the Auditorium of Michigan State University. The Michigan State University Band under the direction of Leonard Falcone perform "Fanfare and Processional" by Hurrell, and the invocation is given by Reverend Robert L. Moreland, Minister of the Eastminster Presbyterian Church in East Lansing, MI. The commencement address We Know in Part is given by Louis William Norris, President of Albion College.

NOTE: Some tape distortion occurs at the beginning of the recording.
