Description: A dance card for the Mason Hall Spring Dance with a Dude Ranch theme, held on May 20, 1939. The dance featured Bob Siegrist and Band with Lynn Dawson, vocalist. The cover of the dance card shows a woman in an evening dress riding a bucking horse, while a man in a tuxedo sits on the ground after being knocked down. The dance card contains lists of committee members, patrons, and special guests.
According to a notice in the May 18, 1939 issue of the State News, the dance was held at Mason Hall.
The dance card was designed by Clare Gunn, while a landscape architecture student at MSU. Gunn then went on to become an MSU Extension Agent in tourism and resorts.
