On the back: "Mr. Charles V Banner 198 Church St Kenne, N.H.," "20 April 49," "Looks like a oceanic dragon's mouth. The spring work has me swamped & all lit up. E.B. Whiting. 99." Stamped on the back: "E.B. Whiting Branford, Conn." Printed on the back: "During the warm weather months, the band-shell is the scene of many gatherings, the most well-known of these being the weekly band concerts given by the Michigan State College band in the latter part of the spring term." It is postmarked Branford, Conn., April 20, 1949 at 4:30p.m.
