Description: This photograph shows the Horticulture Building and greenhouses. Th text typed on the photograph's attachment reads: "Horticultural interests have been present at the college since its beginning in 1857. J.C. Homes, who did more than any other toward founding this institution, was a Hort. Specialtist. The Horicultural Building situated at the North-East corner of the campus, was first in use in 1925. It is thoroly [sic] equiped with best of facilities for teaching and investigating all lines of Hort. The greenhouses in conjunction with the building are used for experimental work on both flowers and vegetables."
