Title: Auditorium and Jenison Gymnasium and Fieldhouse Completed

Description: The Auditorium was completed in 1939 and cost $1,025,000. In March, U.S. First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt made an address to dedicate the new building.

Jenison Gymnasium and Fieldhouse was also completed in 1939 at $1,100,000. The first game in the new building took place on January 6, 1940 where MSC defeated Tennessee 29-20.
