Description: Steve Meuche came to MSU in the fall of 1962 to study broadcasting. While a student he became manager of the Shaw Hall radio station and then began working as a control board operator for WKAR. Following that he became an announcer at the station. In 1965 he accepted the position of producer/director of WKAR.

Mueche taught radio production courses at MSU and broadcasting courses at LCC. He served as program manager from 1969-78 and became manager of WKAR in 1978. In 1989 he was appointed director of broadcasting services for both WKAR radio and TV. Mueche retired from the University in 2004.
