Description: Footage of the November 1962 game against the Illinois Fighting Illini at Memorial Stadium in Champaign, Illinois. MSU Head Coach - Duffy Daugherty; Illinois Head Coach - Pete Elliott. Spartans lost 6-7.

Illinois halfback Ken Warren caught a touchdown pass (extra point good) and MSU halfback Sherman Lewis scored a touchdown (2-point conversion failed) in the 2nd quarter, providing the only scoring in the game. MSU fullback George Saimes totaled 92 yards in this final game of his college football career.
