Dr. Robyn Tasaka is the Tutor Coordinator at the University of Hawaii, West Oahu. She completed her BA and MA in English at UH Mānoa and her PhD in Rhetoric and Writing at Michigan State University, where she focused on cultural rhetorics, digital rhetorics, identity, self-representation, and language diversity.

Dr. Scott Chiu is the Writing Center Director at California Lutheran University and an Associate Professor in the English Department. He received his M.A. from Fu-Jen Catholic University in Taiwan and his PhD from Michigan State University. His current research focuses on L1/L2 writing transfer, translingual pedagogies, writing center studies, and community literacies. Scott also volunteers at Thousand Oaks Chinese School (https://www.to-cs.org/tocs/) and is an advocate for Taiwanese/Chinese culture and education in the local community.
