Description: Footage of the October 1979 game against the Wisconsin Badgers at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wisconsin. MSU Head Coach - Darryl Rogers; Wisconsin Head Coach - Dave McClain. Spartans lost 29-38.

Despite an early MSU lead and a 98-yard kickoff return by running back Derek Hughes in the 3rd quarter, a series of turnovers contributed to the loss against the Badgers, and the Big Ten co-champion Spartans would fall to 2nd place in the division.
