Title: Michigan's first rural electrical power line, reaching from Mason to Dansville, begins operation
Description: This rural electrification project was a joint effort between Michigan State College, farm organizations, Consumers Power Company, and twelve farm families who wanted the service.  The line was built during 1926-1927, and was energized on February 4, 1927.
