Description: Blanchard was the first MSU alumnus to hold the position of MSU governor. He would join two other MSU graduates who were also serving as governors at the time; George Ariyoshi (Governor of Hawaii) and Anthony Earl (Governor of Wisconsin). At that time, MSU had the most alumni serving as governors.
